magpie etc., a gallery of sorts

magpie etc. turned its gallery space over to the electronic pop trio, Venus Hum, for a very special acoustic show and CD listening party Friday, Oct. 9, from 6–8 p.m.

Consisting of vocalist Annette Strean, multi-instrumentalist Tony Miracle and film-maker Kip Kubin, the trio’s recent release of their forth record, Mechanics & Mathematics, continues to marry pop songs with strange electronic sounds.
